ECCC Monthly Community Meeting, November 16th, In-Person and via Zoom
Dear Neighbors,

Please join us for an In-Person & Zoom hybrid meeting to prioritize our neighborhood’s Capital Improvements Projects list for next year’s and future City Budget funding.

The Zoom link is below.

Capital Improvement Projects (often called CIP’s) include:

Parks and recreation centers
Lighting and traffic signals
Bike ways and other transportation projects
Street improvements
Storm drains, water and sewer pipelines

This year we have seen storm drain repairs, water and sewer pipeline replacements, and street resurfacing on several El Cerrito streets, so we can identify new streets, drains, and pipelines that need work next year.

We also received news that the HAWK traffic signal at the intersection of 58th Street and El Cajon Boulevard is funded and going in.

A park is still one of our area’s main needs.

The list we develop will be given to our Eastern Area Communities Planning Committee and the College Area Community Planning Board
to be officially included in their City Budget requests for next year.

Come and help us with this list and bring a dish of your favorite Fall appetizers to share if you would like to.

We will have our usual updates from our elected representatives, SDPD Community Relations Officer, planning groups, and the city’s Parks & Recreation Board.

Teen Challenge is located at 5450 Lea Street, one block south of University – left turn at the SDG&E transmission station.

See you there!
