Danna Givot, of Neighbors For A Better San Diego (N4BSD), will be reviewing SB 10, the City’s process for adopting this new initiative and how it could affect El Cerrito’s neighborhoods, as well as how the other numerous density initiatives listed below.

The City of San Diego, under direction by Mayor Todd Gloria, is pushing to eliminate single residential neighborhoods. He has introduced so many new development regulations, one after another, that it is hard to keep up.

ADU’s;

Junior ADU’s;

SB 9;

Transit Priority Areas (TPA’s) – an area within one-half mile of a major transit stop that is existing or planned;

Sustainable Development Area (SDA’s) – an area within a mile of a major transit stop that is existing or planned;

Complete Communities;

Accelerated Community Plan Updates; and, now

SB 10

Yes, you can do something about these changes, so attend this meeting and learn the facts and have your questions answered.  You do not have to do a lot to be part of the solution, but you do need to know the facts about what is happening.
