COLLEGE AREA COMMUNITY PLAN PROTEST – COLLEGE & EL CAJON BLVD

SAVE THE DATE – MAY 6, 1-3 P.M. COLLEGE AREA COMMUNITY PLAN PROTEST – COLLEGE & EL CAJON BLVD

Dear Neighbors,

FINALLY, there is going to be push back on the City for their ridiculous community plans proposing excessive density in our single-family neighborhoods.

Communities all around San Diego are going to be protesting on Saturday, May 6.

The College Area protest, organized by College Area Neighbors for Responsible Growth, is going to be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on the corners of El Cajon Boulevard and College Avenue. There should be TV and newspaper coverage, so we need to show up in large numbers – young and old alike! Children and grandchildren welcome.

Please mark your calendars and plan to bring your posters, your neighbors, and your snacks. Let the City Council and the Mayor know that:

  • We don’t like their plans for our neighborhoods.
  • Dense housing belongs on the transit corridors and not among single-family homes.
  • We demand responsible growth with infrastructure like parks, a recreation center, and more police protection.

This Saturday, April 22 from 3-5 p.m., we will have a poster-making party at the College-Rolando Library in the Homework Room. PLEASE JOIN US to make your posters for the May 6 protest.

LET YOUR VOICES BE HEARD!
